In 6th grade, I joined my middle school's drama club. Too nervous to audition, I opted to join the non-audition based ensemble. I was the happiest yellow flower in Into the Woods that any stage had ever seen. You could argue that was because the part was made up.
While obtaining my BFA in Acting with a minor in Musical Theatre at Montclair State University, I discovered my passion for theatre education and philanthropic work through the arts. I have worked as a teaching artist throughout New Jersey, New York, and California. Additionally, I have explored the ways that theatre can be used for social change through teaching and acting work. I am interested in how theatre can be applied in non-traditional ways to encourage learning, change, and reflection.
From that moment forward, I was hooked. Over the past 12 years I have performed in theatres on both the east and west coasts, and have done film and tv work throughout the tri-state area.
I graduated with my degree Magna Cum Laude with honors in May of 2018 and since then, have been diving deep into the world of theatre education and theatre for social change. Here's what I'm currently up to!
